Everything you need to use the REDENES Mobile App in the field.
REDENES puts incident command, communications, mapping, and agency tools in the hands of first responders. This help center explains every screen in the app, step by step, in plain language. The app works the same way on iPhone, iPad, and Android, so these guides apply no matter what device you carry.
New to REDENES?
Work through these in order:
- Install and first launch - what happens the first time you open the app
- App permissions - why the app asks for location, notifications, and the microphone
- Create an account - register with your name, phone, and email

Every screen page follows the same shape, so you always know where to look:
- A one-line summary, then a short overview of what the screen is for
- Overview - a table of the buttons, fields, and icons on the screen

- Action sections - numbered steps for each task you can perform
- Tips, notes, and cautions - field-relevant warnings and shortcuts

The app can download this entire help center and serve it on your device, so it stays available with no signal. Some links to outside websites will not open while you are offline.
