In-App Web Browser
Opens web pages and documents inside the app, with the option to hand off to your full browser.
Why you are seeing this: you tapped a link, a document, a report or a shared item, and rather than throwing you out to Safari the app opened it in its own browser. That keeps you inside REDENES, one back tap from where you were. The page name appears in the header, cookie and consent banners are hidden for you, and a menu lets you reopen the same address in your device's default browser if you need to.

What it can open

The header shows whatever name the opening screen passed through. If it comes up blank, that screen did not supply a name — the content still loads normally.
Getting Here
- Tap a link, document, report or shared item anywhere in the app that points at web content.
- This screen opens with a brief loading indicator.
- The indicator clears as soon as content starts arriving, and the page draws.
You cannot open this screen on its own; it always follows a tap somewhere else.
View a Page or File
- Wait for the loading indicator to clear.
- Scroll, tap and fill in the page as you normally would — it behaves like any web page.
- Cookie and consent banners are hidden for you, so they do not sit over the content.
- Tap the back arrow when you are finished. Anything still loading is cancelled so it does not keep running behind you.
How cookie banners are handled
This is done in two passes, so banners rarely appear even for a moment:

The second pass matches buttons whose label is exactly one of: accept all cookies, accept all, accept cookies, accept only necessary cookies, allow all cookies, allow all, agree, i agree, got it, ok or close. It tries immediately, then again after half a second and after a second and a half, to catch banners that load slowly.
Some sites use wording the app does not recognise. If a banner is still blocking the page, dismiss it yourself — it behaves like any button on the page.
Open in Your Default Browser
- Tap the three-dot button.
- Choose Open in Browser.
- If the content is a web address, it opens in your device's default browser outside the app.

Use Open in Browser when you need something the full browser gives you: a saved password, a bookmark, printing, or a download the in-app view will not handle.
Choosing Open in Browser leaves REDENES. On a page where you have already typed something, finish and submit it here first — your input does not travel across to the browser.
How This Connects
- Where the content comes from. Either a live web address, a file already in the app's shared storage, or a report file downloaded from your organisation's file storage the first time you open it. Downloaded files are kept, so the second visit loads instantly and works offline.
- Which screens open it. Any screen with a link, an attached document or a generated report. It is the viewer behind shared items opened from Share Data, the Server UI screens in Server UI Overview, reference documents in Internal File, and the user manual and support links in Support and User Manual.
- What it does not do. There is no address bar, no tabs, no history and no bookmarks — it shows the one thing you opened. For anything more, use Open in Browser.
- Sign-in is separate. The in-app browser does not share your REDENES sign-in with outside websites, and a site you sign into here is not signed in elsewhere in the app.
- Offline and reconnect. A file already stored on the device opens with no signal. A live web address needs a connection; with none, the page simply fails to draw and the loading indicator clears. Go back, reconnect, and tap the link again — there is no automatic retry on this screen.
