Read the full REDENES help site inside the app, available even when you are offline.
The User Manual screen opens the complete REDENES help site without leaving the app. The first time you open it, the app downloads the manual and unpacks it onto your device; after that it loads from local storage and appears almost instantly. Links inside the manual work normally, and any link that points somewhere else opens in your browser instead.

Getting Here
- Open the Account tab.
- Open App Settings.
- Choose User Manual.
Loading and Empty States
The app works through three possibilities in order, and you only ever see one of them.

The first open needs a connection, and the manual is a whole site rather than a single page — give it time and stay connected until it appears. Once it has downloaded once, you never need a connection for it again.
Reading the Manual
- Wait briefly while the manual loads. A spinner covers the screen; it takes noticeably longer the very first time.
- Browse the help site like any web page — tap links, scroll, and navigate through the sections.
- Use the browser-style links inside the manual to move between pages.
- Tap the back button at the top of the screen to leave.
Because the manual is stored on your device after the first download, it is fully readable with no internet — in a basement, in a vehicle out of coverage, or on an aircraft.
Why the First Open Is Slower
The manual is not fetched a page at a time. It arrives as one bundle and is unpacked into a folder on your device, then served from there. That means:

Because the unpacked folder is checked first, the app never re-downloads a manual it already has.
Open the manual once on Wi-Fi before a shift where you expect poor coverage. After that first open it is fully available with no signal at all, which makes it a genuinely useful reference in a basement or out of range.

An external link leaves the app entirely. Switch back to REDENES to carry on reading — the manual is still open where you left it.
Leaving the Screen
- Tap the back button.
- Any download or request still running is cancelled and the spinner is cleared, so nothing is left hanging.
- The local viewer that serves the manual is shut down. It starts again the next time you open the screen.
How This Connects
- Where the data comes from. The manual is packaged by REDENES and downloaded as a single bundle. Its address and file name arrive with the system data your device receives, which is why the download can start without you entering anything.
- What updates it. A new manual bundle from REDENES. Because the app reuses whatever is already unpacked on the device, a newer manual is picked up when the app is given a new bundle to fetch — not on a schedule you control from this screen.
- Which version you are reading. The manual matches the app it shipped alongside. Check your build on App Version if something described here does not match what you see on screen.
- When you need a person instead. The manual explains how the app works; it cannot look at your account. For something specific to you, open a ticket on Support.
- Server problems. If the app is misbehaving rather than confusing, check Default Status before reading further.
- Theme. This screen shows the manual's own styling rather than following your Theme choice on App Defaults.
- Offline and reconnect. The download is the only part that needs a connection. Once the manual is unpacked, every later open is entirely offline. If the first download fails, the partial file is deleted so retrying later starts fresh rather than resuming something broken.
Troubleshooting
