App Version
Review the full history of REDENES app releases, with version numbers, dates, and notes.
The App Version screen lists every released build of the REDENES app for this platform, newest first. Each entry shows its build channel, version number, release date and a short description of what changed. The version currently installed on your device is outlined in red so you can find yourself in the list at a glance.

The list covers every channel, not just yours, so a build you cannot install may still appear. The Development Type field is how you tell which is which.
Getting Here
- Open the Account tab.
- Open App Settings.
- Choose App Version.
Loading and Empty States

The list is requested once when the screen opens. To refresh it, leave the screen and come back.
This screen needs a connection and nothing is cached. Offline you get an error rather than a stale list — but the version you are running is always shown at the top of App Settings, which works offline.
Reading the History
- Scroll the list. Releases are sorted by date, newest at the top.
- Find the row outlined in red — that is the version on your device.
- Read the descriptions of everything above your row to see what you are missing.
- Check the Development Type on each row so you are comparing against your own channel.
This is the screen to open when a colleague says a feature works for them and not for you. Compare the red-outlined row on each device — you are very often on different builds.
Understanding the Build Channel
Development Type is the channel a build was published on. It matters because not every channel reaches every device.

The version check on App Settings is run against your own channel, so New app version available for Install always refers to a build you could actually get. This list is broader, which is why it can show versions above yours that the check does not mention.
Using This Screen in a Support Conversation
When you open a ticket on Support, three facts from this screen save a round trip.

If the newest release's description mentions the thing you are reporting, you may simply need to update rather than raise a ticket at all.
When No Row Is Outlined

| Your version number does not match any entry exactly | The outline needs an exact match |
The absence of an outline is not an error. Check your version at the top of App Settings and compare it by eye.
Reading the Release Date
Release dates use the format you chose on App Defaults. With no format stored, a year-month-day form with a 12-hour time is used instead.
How This Connects
- Where the data comes from. A live request for the published release history for this platform each time the screen opens, so what you see is current — and a connection is required.
- What updates it. REDENES publishing a new build. Nothing you do in the app changes this list.
- The version check. App Settings runs its own check every time you open it and shows App is up to date in green or New app version available for Install in red with the version number. This screen is where you then read what that newer build contains.
- Which build each device runs. The Version column and the App Version field on Devices are the same value, so an administrator can spot devices lagging behind and use this screen to explain what they are missing.
- Date formatting. Follows App Defaults.
- When something is broken. If a feature is misbehaving, check whether you are on the current build here, then check whether a service is down on Default Status, and include both when you open a ticket on Support.
- Offline and reconnect. Unusable offline. Reconnect and reopen the screen; there is no cached copy.
Troubleshooting

| Two rows share a version number | They are different channels. Check the Development Type on each. |
| A release has no description | None was published for that build. |
| Dates look wrong | They use your format from App Defaults. |
| App Settings says a newer version is available but it is not listed | The check and this list come from different requests. Reopen this screen; if it still does not appear, the build may not be published on your channel yet. |
| You cannot update to the newest version | Updates are distributed through whatever channel your agency uses. This screen only reports what exists. |
| A colleague has a feature you do not | Compare the red-outlined row on both devices. You are likely on different builds. |
